The First (of many) Setback
So, here I am thinking I’ll get motivated and work out and do the right thing for my health and body and low and behold, the “Sick Fairy” moves into my house. In all of his infinite wisdom, my ex sent a letter to my 10 year old’s pulminary specialist saying that she doesn’t have asthma and basically I’m crazy. So to prove to him that she does need the meds, they decided to take her off of her medications. Well, 2 days off of the medicine, and she’s sick as a dog, can’t breathe and coughing like a barking seal. So instead of getting to work out, I got to spend the afternoon at the doctor’s office and schedule more tests for today. While at the hospital, they decide that K needs to have her tonsils out (next Friday), nothing like not waiting. She’s freaking out because she is terrified and my 4 year old boy is saying, “Sissy, don’t worry. They give you happy juice and you wake up and its all better!” Probably one of the cutest things I have seen, him trying to comfort his big sister.
Of course with all that going on, I didn’t really eat right, actually I didn’t eat much at all. Which doesn’t help my weight loss plans at all. However, I did manage to drink a ton of water yesterday. But on the upside, I did manage to take a few minutes to myself last night after the kids were in bed and just veg and read for a bit.Anyway, I’ll post if I manage a workout tonight! All depends on what Children’s hospital has to say today.
