Almost Gold

I managed to eat very well yesterday in spite of the drama that is my life at the moment.  I had an English Muffin for breakfast, a small salad with very little dressing for lunch, and grilled chicken and veggies for dinner.  I cheated and had 2 hershey’s kisses as a snack because I had a headache of epic proportions.  I also ran the stairs about 15 times doing laundry and sorting clothes for goodwill.    I didn’t make the gym, but I figure carrying the 4 year old up and down the stairs because for some reason he forgot that he had legs (we had a mommy fit yesterday) counts for something.

Tomorrow is surgery day!  OD is scared spitless.  But as a reward for promising to not run down the hall screaming at the surgery center, DH/ best (step)dad in the world is letting her have an anole.  It’s a lizard, or as I like to say, a snake with legs.  So we went to the pet store to get all the junk for the lizard.  Woooo flipping hooooo!

DH is a little clueless right now.  He is being supportive of my weight loss, but a little clueless about life in general.  His job is stressful right now. And him being a manager, he is trying to make sure his team is taken care of at his own expense.   Admirable, but not so bright!

Anyway!  Happy Birthday to losingcd!  Year #40 will be awesome!  Miss you tons!
